Gold Vermeil is a heavy layer of Gold over Sterling Silver and is much more durable than standard gold plate. With care the gold overlay will last a very long time and the durability of the Vermeil means that it can be safely engraved.
Opening is via a secure and discreet screw port at the base of the pendant. The small flushed screw allows access for keepsakes or cremation ashes.
